An honest attempt

I have decided that I need to be more dedicated to this blog/website in the interests of professional development. During the past year, the first year of my Masters of Information Studies, I have become increasingly aware of the professional opportunities that are available in the world of information. I originally decided to do my masters so I could become a librarian, in the traditional sense of the word, however over the course of my studies so far I have become open to, and even partial to other opportunities that are available. Part of these other opportunities though require that I become more tech savvy than I currently am. I feel that I have won half the battle as I am not afraid to fool around with the technology, but there is still so much to learn. So the first thing I did was buy my domain name and have it mapped onto my old one. Domain mapping. My first lesson. Here’s to many more!!
